There are quite a few bugs floating around where a textbox has a blinking 
insertion point but doesn't have focus, or vice-versa.  A lot of them are 
probably duplicates of each other.

I feel that this could be somewhat related to the event handler module too. 
Somewhere the flag is not getting set whereby the focus is not getting shifted 
although the caret(blinking cursor) is put in. Related bug ids are bug 241942  
bug 243920.
