User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030916 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20030916 As far as I can tell, this can be reproduced on any website. If I collapse then re-show the Personal toolbar, the contents of the website shake up and down continously until I collapse the Personal toolbar. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start Mozilla. 2. Make sure the Personal toolbar is showing. 3. Delete the ENTIRE contents of the Personal toolbar. 4. Collapse (but do not remove or hide) the Personal toolbar. 5. Expand the Personal toolbar (which should be empty). Actual Results: The contents of the web site I am viewing (in this case, http://www.mozilla.org/start/, but I have reproduced on other websites) shake up and down. This continues to happen until I either add an item to the Personal toolbar, collapse the Personal toolbar, or hide it. Expected Results: The contents of the window should not bounce up and down. Was using the Classic theme. Not sure whether it happens with Modern theme.
Another way to reproduce, without deleting the contents of the personal toolbar: 1. Open Bookmarks Manager 2. Create New Folder 3. View -> Set As Personal Toolbar Folder Restoring the browser window, the personal toolbar wiggles. A similar visual effect has been fixed in Mail/News Bug 201379, but it also fixed the osciltating splitter in PageInfo, or LiveHTTPheaders extension.

This happens to me too, using Redhat Linux 9 and Mozilla 1.5 [Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.5) Gecko/20031007] The bug is reported for Windows XP, and marked as fixed. Is it fixed on Linux too?
Nobody asked for the fix to go into 1.5, and so it didn't.
