[meta] Jesse's startup/shutdown console noise tracker
This bug will track bugs that cause console noise on startup or shutdown with my debug builds (so far, only on Mac). I currently get 90 lines of output when I launch Firefox from the command line and quit with Cmd+Q. That's with Greasemonkey disabled and without counting output related to bug 326837. All this console noise makes it hard to notice regressions. In addition, console noise on shutdown makes it hard to notice when a page triggers certain kinds of leaks or other shutdown bugs.
A mix of useful output, useless output, and output indicating bugs.
Is there an option somewhere to avoid the page-specific warnings (bad CSS, bad HTML etc.)? Since if there is, you should use it and re-post your sample console blurb.
I guess I could start with "about:blank" on the command line so it doesn't load my home page.
Summary: [meta] Jesse's console noise tracker → [meta] Jesse's startup/shutdown console noise tracker
The last sample output is about a year old, so I thought I'd attach an updated version. This is also a debug OS X build of the latest trunk. Looks better, but still noisy.
