Hello!
What is this?
This ticket was created to keep track of the work on supporting subtitles in Picture-in-Picture (PiP) around the web.
Am I in the right place? What do I do?
If you would like to work on supporting PiP subtitles on your favorite websites, our team has put together a helpful how-to. It will get you started on a site-specific wrapper for the website where you would like PiP subtitles to work.
When you're ready to get started, please do the following:
- Clone this bug (New/Clone button -> as a clone of this bug) and rename it.
- Add this bug number (1765604) to the Depends on field of the newly created enhancement, so everyone knows what websites are being worked on.
- Attach your patch to your bug whenever you're ready and our team will review it.
I have more questions, how do I get in touch?
Leave your comment in this bug or, alternatively, we're available on the Picture-in-Picture channel in Matrix.
I'm not ready to contribute a wrapper myself, but I would like to request PiP subtitles support on my favorite website
We poll users to help us decide what websites we will support next, and you can vote for it here.
