Release Note Request (optional, but appreciated) [Why is this notable]: New tablet UI. We'll want to call this out when it's ready to ship to Aurora.

wouldn't it also need some improvements in skin to meet android l? flatning ui, animations etc.

I understand it's early alpha, just a sketch, but - some current noticed problems 1. When scrolling 1 and 2 tabs out of screen, then back to them, 2nd tab appears partially under 1st. 2. Scrolling of tabs is very laggy on tab row, low fps. At least on x86. 3. Scrolling of page to hide and show the toolbar is very laggy as well. Addressbar is ok, but when it reaches tab bar it starts lag. Just 5-7 fps here visually.
I don't see the issues you've described on my Nexus 7 - which device are you using?

(In reply to Sylvestre Ledru [:sylvestre] from comment #8) > I am going to untrack this from the release notes. Please resubmit when this > is ready. Not sure what you mean with "ready" here. The new UI is feature-complete and we're just going through some last polishing issues now. This is definitely release notes material for 36.
